This
is a quick post about a few things I am working on. I have a few new items I am
waiting on to review. I found a new bag,( just waiting on it to get here )
which I am hoping will be wonderful. I have also ordered a new monthly box I am
dying to get. Lastly I am going to get all my lipsticks, glosses, balms and whatever
else I have together to find my favorites and least favorites. I know I am not
on top of the trends and its last season’s stuff and what not, but I think most
woman are still on that stuff. I have so much lip stuff also and I like to
share my thoughts on it.

Mary Kay Nourishine plus
From
my Winter Cravebox I got my first ever Mary Kay product. It is the nourishine
plus lip gloss in red passion. From this one product I would have to say I am
on the fence about trying anything else from the Mary Kay line.
This main reason I do not like it is because
it has chunky glitter in it and it feels like sandpaper on my lips. It is the
worst feeling ever. If I kissed a tissue after putting it on I could get the
yucky glitter off my lips and still have a little bit of the color left. I really
like the color but after trying to get the glitter off it is not worth the
headache. It took me four times of putting it on, getting rid of the glitter
than adding more to get it to the point where I liked the color. The color
lasted about four hours with drinking, but once it was faded I went to another
brand. It was not sticky or has any nasty orders to it which is a plus to the
product.
So all and all I do not like it and would not
recommend it to anyone. I really like the color just wish that there was no
glitter in the product, it just messes the whole thing up to me.
This is a link to my other blog so you are able to see the color because I am still not sure why I can not add pictures anymore to this blog.

Gold Bond Ultimate
So
I got my Winter Favorites Cravebox and I wanted to review the Mary Kay product
that was included. I had lots I had to do before hand, but got everything ready
set aside for later and now I cannot find it anywhere. Not a clue in the world on where it has gone.
After I get done this review I will start looking for it so I can share that
review with you guys as soon as I can.
Now on to the review, I know this is an older
product, but I just found it and am in love with it. It is the Gold Bond
Ultimate healing with Aloe lotion. I used a coupon a while back and was able to
get a travel size for free to try. After picking it up that day, I set it with
the other lotions and forgot all about it until just these last few weeks.
I live in New England, work as a cashier in a
very busy store and am on my feet all day long. All of these things together have
made my hands and feet so dry I could not stand myself. I have so many lotions
in my stash and I was trying one after another after another until I pulled out
the Gold Bond. It is a very thick creamy lotion, once you rub it in your skin
soaks it right up and there is no grease left. It has a very soft smell of
aloe, which I personally like because I can use it with other perfumes or body
sprays and it does not make those scents smell funny. I always have a little
one with me no matter where I go and use it often. I have been using it about
two weeks and it has made my hands so much softer and no dry skin. I also use
it on my feet every night. I think this is my favorite thing to do with the
lotion. It just makes my tired feet relax and once I put it on I slip into some
fuzzy warm socks and let it work. My feet have stopped cracking and starting to
heal up and get nice and soft again.
Hands down this has become my favorite
lotion. I love the feel, how well it works, and the smell of it. I have
included their links so you can check them out. I love this lotion and give it
five stars. I want to start checking out their other products to see if they
work just as well, so the Gold Bond reviews should be updated down the road.

Coming back, FINALLY!!!!!
Hey
Everyone,
It had been a long time since I have done
anything on my blog. I have had life get in the way; finishing school, Sandy,
Sandy Hook school shooting, and all the holidays and birthdays in-between. So
it has been a busy and sad time all around me. I have not forgotten about the
blog and have been picking up new products to review for everyone I am going to
try for at least two reviews a week. As you already know they can be anything
from beauty items, to pet food. If there is anything you want to know about
just ask away.

Vapour part two
Back
with part two of the Vapour reviews. I am going to talk about two of their
products today. Their new trick sticks, and solar translucent bronzer.
I will start with their bronzer. It comes in
three colors, mirage, simmer, and spicy. I got one in mirage. They say this
about their bronzer; “a sophisticated bronzed appearance while delivering
powerful antioxidants and moisture with Vapour’s exclusive light-as-air,
botanically- infused organic base...” This is another product that is light as
air. I can add this over the foundation and still feel as nothing is there. It
comes in stick form so it is very easy to pack and go. No need for brushes,
just swipe it on a do a little blending. It works great on my skin and gives me
a perfect sun kissed look. I love the way this looks over any of my powdered
bronzers. This gets a 5 of 5 stars and have been telling everyone and showing
it to everyone.
The next product is their Trick Sticks. This
is their new “precision beauty tool to achieve a lit-from-within glow.” It is a
high lighter in their great stick form. I got it in luster, dazzle, and star,
and I love every one of them. I use them on my brow bone, cheek bones, and down
my nose. They give a great glow that really wakes up my face. It is a glow that
people even notice. They are very light weight, and the texture is smooth and
creamy. It glides on perfect and just needs a little bit of blending. They are
all highly pigmented and have just the right amount of simmer. I am in love
with both of these products, just like their foundations. They are so creamy
when you put them on and light weight to wear. It has been so hot here and I am
ok to wear these out for the day. I used all of their products for my cousins
out door wedding and they stood up to the heat, sweat, humidity, all of it. I
give the trick sticks a 5 of 5 too. So far I have no complaints about anything.
Great packaging and great wear ability.

Vapour review part 1
I
got a great box of goodies from Vapour to share my honest thoughts with you
gals. Vapour is an organic beauty company, which came out with a new
formulation that is not a powder, cream, or liquid, something in between all of
it. I am going to break this review into parts so it’s not so long to read.
The first thing I am going to talk about
is their foundations. They have it in two forms, a liquid type, called
atmosphere soft focus foundation and a stick kind of cream type, called
atmosphere luminous foundation. I like the soft focus pump one the best just
because I like the pump and that it gives you a dewy finish. They are both so
light weight. I feel like I have nothing at all one my face. I never thought
foundation could make you feel that way. My skin can breathe and still look
pretty. They have been perfect for this crazy heat this summer. They both have
become my everyday go too foundation. The soft focus one goes on so easy and
blends like a dream. It gives great coverage, with and without concealer and
lasts all day for me. The luminous foundation has a tiny bit more of a matte finish.
Everything else is just like the soft focus one. I was scared of it at first
because it was a cream in a stick and was unsure how to put it on and how well
it would blend, but I had no problems. I put a few swipes on my face and use my
beauty blender to blend it in and it is a perfect finish every time. They come
in many different skin tones so there is one for everyone out there. I found
that the s100 is perfect match for me. I give this foundation a 5 of 5 stars. I
have never liked a foundation as much as I like this one. I will not go back to
any of the other ones I have; they are all going to friends. I recommend this
to anyone who wants a super lightweight great coverage foundation.
