TheBodyNeeds eye shadow review

I said I was going to do another review of TheBodyNeeds for their eye shadow. I got my order in about a week ago and have been using them since, and also realize that I had one of their eye shadows for a while that I go in a swap. Everything I got was on sale or clearance because I hate spending full price on anything. I got the colors:
Lilac matte- soft lilac matte
Golden Copper – metallic golden copper
Tricked- frosted bronze
Pandora- Frosted golden pink
Patience- light baby pink matte
Lolly Luna- pale lavender with a teal duo chrome
Fools Gold- light yellowish gold with pale green pearl

They are all pretty pigmented, the lights one are buildable if you would like them darker. I love every color that I have but Fools Gold is my favorite. That is the one I have had for a long time and always go back to it. They do not bug my eyes in any way. I put them over whatever eyelid primer of the day I use then usually a NYX jumbo pencil. Most of the time I use the white one, Milk, but some days I will us a colored one. I can put them on at the start of my day and still have them on when I wash my face at the end of the night. They do fade as the day goes on, but you can still see what the colors they are, just not as vibrant. They can be a little blotchy and you have to play with them a little, but I really like them and for the price I have no complaints. They have tons of colors to pick from and good prices even when they are not on sale. I may not care for that one lip luster I got but, I really really like their eye shadows. They also sent a sample of another lip luster with my order. It is called Mystic. In the pot it came in it looks like is should be a berrish purple shade, but when you use your brush or finger to put it on there is no color at all though. It is more like a scented lip balm, it smells like berries. It does feel good on the lips and leaves a nice shine, I just do not like there is no color at all. I like tinted lip balms and it would have been great if this turned out to be one.  I have some pictures of the shades, but for some reason the pictures were not working out no matter what type of camera I tried to use. This review was held up a little bit because I was fighting with the pictures.

Jordana 12 HR Made to Last

So last week I posted about the Jordana 12 HR Made to Last eye shadow pencils I won. I have tried them a few days since getting them and thought I would share with you what I thought. I will give the pros to start with because I really wanted to love and use these. The colors I got are perfect and beautiful for a natural eye look. The shadows are so creamy and go on like a dream. There is no pulling or pain on the eye lids. Once on they blend out perfectly, and they look great together.
Now time to talk about the down side of them. I cannot wear them; no matter what I did or how I tried them they bugged my eyes. They would make them watery, itchy, and irritated. I had to stop in the middle of driving and remove the make-up because I could not see well from my eyes watering. I have sensitive eyes with about two other products, now this adds another one. I am not sure what is in them or why they do it, but I am so sad that they do. I have never used any other Jordana products, so I am going to try to find some more to see if I can use them, because of how well these seem to work. It is an inexpensive make-up brand so once I can find some I can get a bunch of things to try out and see how they work for me.

Overall, if someone does not have sensitive eyes I recommend these. They are so creamy and blend able. I found them on Cherryculture.com for 3.99, so you cannot beat the price and they have 8 pretty colors to pick from.

Take a second to like my Facebook Page, please and thank you
I am also adding Jorana's Facebook page, add them and watch out for the great giveaways they are always doing.

Maybelline Dr. Rescue Baby Lips!!!

OK ladies, I will admit it I am a lip junkie and a Maybelline lip junkie at that.  I have been hunting high and low since I heard that there was a new Baby Lips coming out. I have almost all of them that have come out. I LOVE them and always have at least one in my bag. I looked high and low in my town the last few weeks trying to find the Maybelline Dr. Rescue and today I sort of struck gold. I honestly forgot that we had a Rite Aid in town because I never go in to it, but I had time and saw it so I went in. BINGO, they had them, but they only had one color left. That made me sad, but happy because I could at least try one. I got the pink one and of course I forgot to save the package to get the real color name. I have been using it since I got it this afternoon. It is a menthol lip balm and I love that so much. You put it on and it tingles and cools your lips. It makes them feel soft and refreshed.  This one gives your lips just a soft hint of pink, which is great for on the go. This is great because you never need a mirror to put a little on. I put it on twice in an eight hour period and it lasted both times and kept my lips feeling great. I highly recommend these and there will be more added to the review when I find more colors and get some more use out of them. I was just too excited to wait and share that I found them.

Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion

About a month ago I received Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion to try and review for you guys. I have used it every morning since I got in place of my other facial Lotion. This is their Enhanced Lotion for anti-wrinkle. It contains 10% Glycolic AHA and with continued use it will help revitalize and restore younger skin. I can say that it has made my skin very soft and brighter than it has been. I do not have fine lines or wrinkles, but I have been using anti-wrinkle products since I was about 20 and love them. I love how nicely this lotion goes on and just disappears on the skin. It does not leave a greasy feeling and it is gone in no time so I can move on with the next step in the morning. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and firmer than it was before. I really enjoy lotions that give you the firming type feeling on my face and neck. There is no scent at all. I have very oily skin and this does not make it worst, it is one of the few face lotions that I have found I can use and not have an extra greasy face. I love this lotion and think it would be a great buy for anyone who is looking for a great facial lotion. I have told so many people about it and let my sister try it and she loves it too.  I give this product 5 out of 5 stars and will be something I will buy more of once I run out. I add all of their links so please take a second and like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.

Vapour review part 1

I got a great box of goodies from Vapour to share my honest thoughts with you gals. Vapour is an organic beauty company, which came out with a new formulation that is not a powder, cream, or liquid, something in between all of it. I am going to break this review into parts so it’s not so long to read.

The first thing I am going to talk about is their foundations. They have it in two forms, a liquid type, called atmosphere soft focus foundation and a stick kind of cream type, called atmosphere luminous foundation. I like the soft focus pump one the best just because I like the pump and that it gives you a dewy finish. They are both so light weight. I feel like I have nothing at all one my face. I never thought foundation could make you feel that way. My skin can breathe and still look pretty. They have been perfect for this crazy heat this summer. They both have become my everyday go too foundation. The soft focus one goes on so easy and blends like a dream. It gives great coverage, with and without concealer and lasts all day for me. The luminous foundation has a tiny bit more of a matte finish. Everything else is just like the soft focus one. I was scared of it at first because it was a cream in a stick and was unsure how to put it on and how well it would blend, but I had no problems. I put a few swipes on my face and use my beauty blender to blend it in and it is a perfect finish every time. They come in many different skin tones so there is one for everyone out there. I found that the s100 is perfect match for me. I give this foundation a 5 of 5 stars. I have never liked a foundation as much as I like this one. I will not go back to any of the other ones I have; they are all going to friends. I recommend this to anyone who wants a super lightweight great coverage foundation.

Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Inserts

I am part of Bzzagent. Com and I recently got invited to join their Dr. Scholl’s Massaging Gel campaign. From them I revived a set of inserts and some coupons to hand out to my friends, all in exchange for my thoughts about the product. https://www.bzzagent.com is their site if you want to check them out.

I have had the inserts in my shoes since I got them, which was the end of May. I have made sure I have been using them and walking a little more to see how they work and hold up. As of now I have no complaints about them at all. I love them. I do not feel like I have anything in my shoe and they make walking so much more comfortable.  After a long day of walking yes I still have some back but nothing like I ever had before.  It also does not start until late in the day, just before I am done and ready to head home for the day.  I honestly kick myself for waiting this long to try inserts in my shoes. They make such a difference and make me so much happier when out for long days. I am starting a new job very soon and I will be on my feet 6 to 8 hours a day so I am super excited to give them a try out then and see how they hold up.  These are a great product and I recommend them to anyone to try out. I know once these have worn out I WILL be getting a new pair. Here are some great links so you can take a second to check out Dr. Scholl’s some more. I also saw a coupon on the Dr. Scholl’s site, so hurry over and get that. Than take a second to like me on Facebook please and thank you.

Forbiddensweets Review :D

Do you have a wedding, birthday party, baby shower, or any other get together that you want to add a huge touch of summer time cuteness too? Well I found a great site you should check out. It is Forbiddensweets.com. They make chocolate covered rice crispy treats, and they are SOOOOOOO cute. They sent me five different ones to check out and review and give my honest thoughts about them for you guys. First off I cannot get over just how cute these things are. I took them out and showed them too many people before we tried them and everyone could not get over how cute they are. Right now I have a gumball machine one left and its home has become on my vanity in with my make-up brushes and it adds such a touch of cuteness to them. As for taste, I think they were really good. You taste the chocolate first then the rice crispy treat sneaks its way in there.  They use sheets of Kellogg's Rice Krispy Treat to make sure the quality and consistency is always top notch, than they cut them and paint them with a huge variety of colored chocolate. They have hundreds of ones to pick from, but they can also work with you to make something special just for your event.

This company was started in 2002 by two moms that wanted and needed to be there for their children. It started as a little thing and they sold at local craft shows and fairs. When they first started they had toffee and chocolates as well, but when trying to grow their business they started to make treats for kids and it took off from there. The first one they ever made was there Sponge Dude and he is still their best seller. They have moved out of the kitchen into their own building with many employees. Now they are in many retailers, and also online. You can buy them wholesale or a few at a time online and if you are ordering 25 or more they have special pricing. The products also have a six month shelf life so you can get them before your party, just so you know they are ready to go.

I really enjoy these treats. They taste great and are super cute. Bring them to any party will give it a touch of cuteness and everyone will be talking about them. They have ones for every season and every type of party you can think of, so it will be very easy to find the ones that you need. Please take a minute check them out and order some, you will be pretty happy. While you are checking them out, take a minute to like my Facebook page and I will keep you updated on their new products.

Soilstice Everyday Spa, Universal body lotion

I got a bottle of Soilstice Everyday Spa, universal body lotion to review and give my thoughts on. I can say that I am very happy with this lotion. First thing and best thing I think about this lotion, it soaks in like a minute. I cannot believe how fast it is in my skin. It does not leave me feeling sticky or greasy, just very soft. It is a nice thick white cream and not runny at all. The smell is just like a normal plain lotion smell, but it is very very light. It is not a scent that will overwhelm anyone. I really enjoy this lotion and it is the first higher end, I guess you could say lotion. It runs 28 dollars but after using it for two weeks, I think it is well worth it. My skin is so much softer than it has ever been. This lotion gets an A+ in my book, I cannot think of anything bad to say about the product.

Pamico Soapworks Review!!!!!

I received some soap samples from Pamico Soapworks to review and give my honest opinion about.
I will start by saying I love this soap. I got three samples bars in Twilight Woods, Coconut Lime, and Olive Oil. The coconut lime was everyone in the houses favorite. The smell is amazing!!!.It is long lasting and room filling. My mother said it make my father smell so good she wants to bite him, LoL. The Twilight Woods is a rustic type smell which is wonderful too. I do not think I have found a smell like it before. The Olive Oil soap was a very first for me. I have heard all kinds of good stuff about using olive oil as skin care; I just never found any to try before. I will say as just a plain scent for the soap it takes a little getting use too, but TOTALLY worth it. This soap left my skin feeling amazing. It goes on great, lathers easily and when rinsing it off it comes fully off and leaves you feeling super clean. While leaving you feeling clean it also leave you skin so soft. I do not understand how it leaves you feeling so clean yet so soft. Usually soap leaves a weird feeling if it is moisturizing but this one has none of that at all. It just leaves you feeling squeaky clean, yet VERY soft. I am a huge olive oil soap fan now.  All three of the soaps are great and leave you feeling so clean with no left over residue feeling at all. I feel like I could run my finger down my arm and make that clean dish sound after using the soap. The smell lasts a very long time. I really cannot get over how much everyone in my home loves this soap. I have been using body wash for years thinking that was the way to get my skin the smoothest, boy I think I might be wrong.  My father has been using the coconut lime, Shea butter soap every day for about a week and he has always had a very large patch of dry skin on his chest and by using this soap it has already started to get better. We have tried many different things and this has been the first thing that we could really see a difference with. I know this review it all over the place, but I cannot tell you how great this soap is. http://www.pamicosoapworks.com/default.html   This is her website, I would take a look and give something a try. While talking to her I have found out that the coconut lime and citrus splash are her best-selling soaps, and it the citrus is as good as the coconut lime I know why. These soap are wonderful and have two thumps up and an A+ all around in my book. I hope you guys take the time to check it out and give one a try.
I only got a picture of two of the three before someone stole the coconut lime soap and started using it.
I also forgot to add in all this crazyness all her products are handmade and all natural, YaY for great, great natural products!!!!

UGLee Pens= LOVE

I received some pens the other day for review and they are WONDERFUL. They are the UGLee Pen, designed by Dr. James Lee. Here is their site http://www.ugleepen.com/. This pen is made to be comfortable for anyone to write with. In my household I have pre-operation carpal tunnel syndrome, my mom has bad arthritis and has had her hands operated on twice, and my sister is a college student along with myself. We all took a pen and went our own way. Well I personally write out everything I am doing by hand before typing, so I write ALL the time. I can usually only write for a very short time than take a break and do that over and over again because writing really hurts my hands. I can honestly say that I have not had that problem with this pen once. I could write for hours and not even think about it. The pen is so light and the grip is great. I do not know how Dr. James Lee came up with this pen, but I am so grateful for it.  My mother and sister also both love this pen. We have not let these pens out of our site since day one. We have taken them to the bank, the doctors, anywhere we think we might have to write. I have had many questions about them and I am so happy to share the information about them to the people that ask. I have not found another pen that works like this one. It really is a pen that works for people that have any kinds of problems with their hands. I wish I could write and then scan in what I write instead of typing now, because typing bugs my hands but these pens do not. Also the ink and writing quality is A+. It writes the first time every time and is so smooth. It just glides across the paper perfectly. Being left handed I get ink build up on my pinky finger often, but I have not gotten it with this pen either, which is great. I honestly cannot give enough praise to these pens and how much I really love them. I will say they are a little expensive to get your first three, but then you can buy refillable ink for them.  I am going to order the ink to refill mine so I can keep using them. I will get rid of all the other pens in my home for these. Here is there site again, take a look and give them a try. They really do make writing comfortable and enjoyable again. http://www.ugleepen.com/ This gets a 2 thumbs up and an A+ in my book all around.http://www.fda.gov/AnimalVeterinary/NewsEvents/CVMUpdates/ucm280586.htmhttp://www.fda.gov/AnimalVeterinary/NewsEvents/CVMUpdates/ucm280586.htmhttp://www.fda.gov/AnimalVeterinary/NewsEvents/CVMUpdates/ucm280586.htm

Box's I have gotten

So I have been a little slow at writing lately. Sorry about that, my comp crashed and my phone died. I am a little more together now, but I may not have pics for my posting for a little bit.  This post is just a quick update on some of the boxes I have gotten. First box I got was my Teen Vogue Birch box, which I LOVE!! I am so happy that I picked the teen vogue box; I am not even sure what was in the normal box. Everyone I follow got the teen vogue box as-well. Well this is just a quick list of what came in mine:

1)      Essie’s luxeffects in as gold as it gets. I love the color, and it looks great alone or over color. I have been trying all kinds of things with it to see how I like it best. So far I love it over Sally Hansen’s No Hard Feelings.

2)      Kate Spade New York perfume in Twirl. This is a great fruity, florally type mix. I think it will be such a great scent for the spring. I love the perfume samples we get in our boxes, such a great way to always change your scent to your mood.

3)      Kerastase’s Elixir Ultime.  This works so well in my hair. It makes it super soft, shiny and straight. I was so happy with this I went and got a full size one and I never get hair products.

4)      Tarte’s Lipsurgence lip tint in Lucky. My sister and I are in love with this. It is so fun to use, love the crayon style of it. The color is great for spring and it has become my go to lip color.

5)      Twistband, hair tie in a super light pink. I am not sure what I think about this being in the box, but whatever, everything else was SUPER GREAT and I will use and have been using the hair tie. I just wish it was something different.

All together this was a great box and so happy that I got it. I hope they do more boxes like this in the future.

The next thing I got was a Cravebox that I won from a giveaway by a1nettie on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/a1nettie). Thank you again, I enjoyed this box greatly. Everyone should check out her Youtube and from there her blog, she is super great and has great freebees and box openings. I do not have pictures of this box because of my phone, but I will link a picture that I found online for it.

So in this box I got:

1)      Amore Pacific treatment cleansing foam and moisture bound. I have never seen anything like the moisture bound before, it is a spray for your face you can use whenever to help keep your face moisturized.  They both smell super great and I really like how the moisture bound makes my face feel.

2)      ThinkThin bars. One was creamy peanut butter and the other was a mixed nut bar. I got to try the mix nut bar and it was AMAZING. My sister took the other bar on me and I have not gotten to ask her what she thought of that one.

3)      Three packs of Eboost. I have to say that this one is not for me. I tried it and could only stand to take one sip. To me it tasted like salt water with a slight orange taste to it.  So glad I got to try them before buying them for myself.

4)      Downy Wrinkle Releaser. I have not used this yet nor have I ever before. I will say that I love the idea of it and so glad to have it. I am going to skip ironing something next time I have to wash them to see how well it works. If it works well it would save me so much time. I however do love the scent of it. Once I got it I sprayed it I could not wait to at least smell it, lol.

5)      Bic Mark It. We got 6 of them in great pinks and purples. They are a fine point permanent marker. I can never have enough craft type stuff. I love color, crafting and pink so I will find many uses for these markers.

This was another great box. I have been on the waiting list for a few months, but it is always full so I was super excited to get one box while I wait for the member ship to reopen.  I will post all the links again so you can check them out if you would like.

Kiss Nail Dress

Another product I received in my Love VoxBox from Influenster to try and review was Kiss Nail Dress. I got the pink cheetah like pattern called Bodysuit which I LOVE. They were the ones I was hoping for as I started to see others boxes. They come with 28 nail stickers in the pack so I used them on myself and my sister used the rest. The first thing we did was clean and buff our nails to make sure they were nice and smooth to give the stickers the best surface we could to stick to. Than you pick the right one for you nail, slowly put it on and make sure you are push a little bit on them to keep out any bubbles, at the end of the nail we bent the sticker over and filed off the extra. I will say I stink at sizing my nails. I had gaps on almost all my nails, but it was my own doing. Once on though they looked pretty good. My sister did a much better job and they looked great on her fingers. We both put clear polish over the top just for a little extra protection and shine, but it is not needed at all.  For me using them took less time than using normal nail polish and I could not mess them up. Any time I paint my nails I always hit at least one before they are fully dry and I hate that. It was also super fun spending the time with my sister and putting them on. That was a great plus with them. My sister had them on for 8 days before she took them off. They still looked pretty good; I was highly impressed with how they held up. I took mine off about 4 days later, just because I am ALWAYS changing my nails. Over all I give these an A and would use them again. I think they have great patterns and they are so much easier to use than nail polish. They are also very easy to change to match your outfits, hair, or make-up whatever you want them to go with. I want to get more so I can get use to sizing them to my nails. I think after a few more tries I will be a pro. Great product Kiss Nail Dress, I really really enjoyed them. Here is a few pages of information so you can check them out some more.  http://www.influenster.com/Product-Reviews/Kiss-Nail-Dress

Venus & Olay Razor= LOVE

I got to try the Gillette Venus & Olay razor from my Influenster Love VoxBox and I am in love with it. After one use I gave out the rest of my razors and got refills for this one. This razor is a five blade razor wraped in two Olay bars. The bars look large, but they move so easily as you are using it. The bars smell so good too. These bars make it so I do not have to use shaving cream. The moisturizing that the bars give is great. I do not think my legs have been so soft and smooth in forever. I was always jumping razors to find one that I could get this result from. I cannot think of the right words to tell you, how happy I am with this razor. The handle feels good in my hand and I have full control. The movement of the head makes getting your knees so easy and perfect. http://www.influenster.com/Product-Reviews/Gillette-Venus-Olay This is a page full of other woman that think it is a great razor as well. Great smelling, easy to use, and super close shave; what more can you ask for from a razor?
Here are some more great pages to check out to find out more about this razor
