Nourish, Organic Food for Healthy Skin, Review

I got some goodies from Nourish to try out and share my honest thought with you guys and the company. Nourish is an organic beauty company. They offer “100 percent USDA certified organic, high-performance and high- quality formulations offered in distinctive scents made of exclusive blends of 100 percent USDA certified organic essential oils and extracts.” I could not have explained the company better. They carry many different bath and body products in four different scents.

  The first thing I got to try is their organic hand wash in lavender mint. It is the first time I have come across organic hand wash and was very excited to try it. The bottle has a lovely picture on it and I am proud to show it in my bathroom. I took the big bottle and split it. I work with food and wash my hands at least 30 times a day at work, so I wanted to see how it worked when using it that much. The smell is heavenly. I love lavender and mint and when they are together it this soap they are perfect. The next thing I learned is a little goes a long way. When using it you only need about half a pump and you are good. If you use too much it takes a little longer to get off your hands. So just keep that in mind while you are using it. Now as for using it over and over it is great. When you use the right amount it lathers easily and rinses away quickly. Your hands feel squeaky clean when you dry them. It has helped my hands feel smoother and softer instead of drying them out. I have found I do not have to use as much lotion because my hands stay soft and moisturized. I give this soap 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it to everyone one.

  The next product I tried is their organic body wash. This product I am on the fence still about, I think. I am still using it and trying to decide which way to go with it. First thing is the scent. It is almond vanilla, and it is amazing. I look forward to it every morning. It fills the bathroom with this great scent. When you rinse it off it leaves a weird scent on your body. It is not a bad scent, just weird. I was expecting to smell like the almond vanilla after the shower. I have also found with this product you have to use more than normal to get a nice lather. This is not the worst thing I was just thinking it would be like the hand soap where less is more. Once you get those out of the way it is a god body wash. It is a creamy type of texture which lathers and goes on to your body great once you get the amount right. It rinses off and does not leave that nasty residue on your skin like many other body washes do. You fell squeaky clean, yet moisturized. I would give this product 4 out of 5 stars. This is mainly just because of the scent not lasting after the soap is off. I really love the scent and wish I could smell it all day. If you were to layer it with their lotion maybe you could solve that problem. I do recommend it thought because it makes you feel so clean and fresh without the heavy nasty feeling some soaps leave on your body.

EO, organic pet product review

     The company EO was nice enough to send me a package of goodies to review for you guys. First of all EO is a family owned and run certified organic manufacture.  They have everything from hand soap, body lotion, to pet stuff. Everything is natural, gentle, effective and no animal testing. I really enjoyed looking around their site and reading about them and their products. I will leave their link at the bottom so you can take a look.

     So, on to what I got to test. This was so fun because what I got was for my puppies and not me. They sent their shampoo and conditioner in lavender aloe, and their natural dog groomer in citrus n mint. Both products smell amazing. I will start with the shampoo and conditioner. They are both gentle and biodegradable. The dog I will talk about most is my sister’s hippo, ha-ha. He is a 120lb plus, longer coated, red mutt. This poor dog has had the worst skin, dry, flaky, itchy. The only shampoo we found that he could handle was baby shampoo. Well we said what the heck let’s try this new stuff on him. Well it worked great on him. A little went a long way. It had great lather and smelled so good. The condition went on easy and spread nicely. Both rinsed out of his fun with no problems at all. One of the best parts is that none of the dogs have a wet dog smell after being washed. They hold onto the smell of lavender and I love it.  My dog is a broken coat Jack Russell and this shampoo and condition worked great on her. It made both of their coats very, very soft, fluffy and shiny. The only thing I noticed was that my dog, Jazzmin, has lots of white and the baby shampoo makes it look a little brighter. I will trade that any day though for her soft fluffy coat EO’s products gave her.

      The next product is the Natural Dog Groomer in citrus-n- mint.  This is a great refreshing spray to use in between baths. It helps to soothe dryness and itching and condition the dog’s skin. This product also smells great. The smells of all three products last for a while too. This helped keep the pups coats smelling great and very soft. On our oldest dog we only used the spray because it is too much on him to get a full bath, and the spray made his coat so nice and smell great. Now using all of these products on my sister’s dog has helped nicely with his skin problems. These products are great. I have nothing to say bad about them. On their site you can buy them alone or order the whole set. These products have 5 out of 5 in my book.

Pamico Soapworks Review!!!!!

I received some soap samples from Pamico Soapworks to review and give my honest opinion about.
  I will start by saying I love this soap. I got three samples bars in Twilight Woods, Coconut Lime, and Olive Oil. The coconut lime was everyone in the houses favorite. The smell is amazing!!!.It is long lasting and room filling. My mother said it make my father smell so good she wants to bite him, LoL. The Twilight Woods is a rustic type smell which is wonderful too. I do not think I have found a smell like it before. The Olive Oil soap was a very first for me. I have heard all kinds of good stuff about using olive oil as skin care; I just never found any to try before. I will say as just a plain scent for the soap it takes a little getting use too, but TOTALLY worth it. This soap left my skin feeling amazing. It goes on great, lathers easily and when rinsing it off it comes fully off and leaves you feeling super clean. While leaving you feeling clean it also leave you skin so soft. I do not understand how it leaves you feeling so clean yet so soft. Usually soap leaves a weird feeling if it is moisturizing but this one has none of that at all. It just leaves you feeling squeaky clean, yet VERY soft. I am a huge olive oil soap fan now.  All three of the soaps are great and leave you feeling so clean with no left over residue feeling at all. I feel like I could run my finger down my arm and make that clean dish sound after using the soap. The smell lasts a very long time. I really cannot get over how much everyone in my home loves this soap. I have been using body wash for years thinking that was the way to get my skin the smoothest, boy I think I might be wrong.  My father has been using the coconut lime, Shea butter soap every day for about a week and he has always had a very large patch of dry skin on his chest and by using this soap it has already started to get better. We have tried many different things and this has been the first thing that we could really see a difference with. While talking to her I have found out that the coconut lime and citrus splash are her best-selling soaps, and it the citrus is as good as the coconut lime I know why. These soap are wonderful and have two thumps up and an A+ all around in my book. I hope you guys take the time to check it out and give one a try.

Venus & Olay Razor= LOVE

I got to try the Gillette Venus & Olay razor from my Influenster Love VoxBox and I am in love with it. After one use I gave out the rest of my razors and got refills for this one. This razor is a five blade razor wraped in two Olay bars. The bars look large, but they move so easily as you are using it. The bars smell so good too. These bars make it so I do not have to use shaving cream. The moisturizing that the bars give is great. I do not think my legs have been so soft and smooth in forever. I was always jumping razors to find one that I could get this result from. I cannot think of the right words to tell you, how happy I am with this razor. The handle feels good in my hand and I have full control. Ok this is the last part to my AXE review. Sorry it took a bit, I have been so sick I did not want to move. The last things I am going to talk about are two styling products and a bodywash.

   The body wash is a new 2in1 body and hair wash in Jet.  This is the strongest of the three body washes. It is a straight up manly smell. When I think of a man’s soap this is the smell I think of, strong, assertive, and confident. I did not attempt to use this one at all on me, because it was such a manly smell. I will say that I LOVE how it makes the bathroom smell when the guys are using it. I could sit in the bathroom and just smell it until it fades away. When they are done the shower and if they do not use a body spray you can still smell it throughout the day, which is great. I love when my boyfriend has something on that has a great smell; it makes me want to hug him so much more. This body wash also rises off the body perfectly and makes them feel super clean. Out of the three body washes I do not think I can really pick the best one. I love these scents and I think the best way to wear or use them for me is rotate the smells, lol, that way I get to always smell something new.

   The next thing is the Hold+Touch styling products. There is the cream wax for think hair and Paste for fine hair. AXE always has great colors on their products that stand out and always look so good together, and these are no let down either; simple but great eye popping colors. To me they both smell the same. It is a great kind of coconutish smell. I really enjoy the smell; I used it in my own hair and kept smelling my hair. I think people thought I might be a little weird, but that is ok with me.  There is a difference in the consistence with them that is very noticeable. I have very fine hair so I went right for the Paste. It comes out and kind of looks like the paste we played with in school as kids. I have very straight fine hair that has a hard time holding curls and I wanted to see if this would help me hold some. Once I toweled dried my hair I took in total about a quarter size amount and got it throughout my hair. Then I scrunched my hair until I had some nice waves in it. Out the door I went for my busy day, when I got home, I still had waves in my hair, YaY. It held pretty well, I would give it an A for what it kept going in my hair. Also my hair was still move able and pretty touchable. There were spots that were a little crunchy, but I am sure it was spots that I had not spread the product out well enough in.  I like the product very much overall. The other one was the cream wax for think hair. I used this one on my little brother because he was the only guy with hair and it is super thick. It was so super easy to spike his hair. It was like once I started to run my fingers in his hair it was spiked. It worked so well and was super-fast to do. It held his hair all day long and there was only a few spots that were crunchy again. I think that was just too much product in the areas. All in all I really liked these styling products. I think they worked great, honestly better than I thought that they would.

   Everything that I have tried I am in love with. All the products live up to what they say they do, and smell so good. If you have not tried anything from AXE I recommend that you do. More Great AXE products

This is to go along with my review from the other day. Today I am going to talk about the men’s Axe line in Anarchy. We got to use the deodorant, body spray, and body wash. After the men in my home got done using it all I will say they smelled sooooo good. I do not like many men’s products that have a scent; they are usually too strong or to musky for me.  The AXE lines, I have not come across that yet. This line nailed it again. 

   First is the revitalizing body wash in Anarchy. I wish I could describe smells better to help you better understand how good it smells. It is bathroom filling scent and it does give you such a refreshed feeling as you use it and smell it. This one I did not use on myself because it was such a strong guy scent, but all the guys did, and I used it on my hands for see how well it comes off. This one is just as good as the other body wash. It rinses so good and leaves you feeling so clean. The guys said it lathered so good and worked super well with AXE buffer thing.  After getting out of the shower you could still smell it one them and it filled the house. It did not dry out anyone’s skin. All five guys gave it huge thumbs up. The females love the smell and agreed with the guys. I think it is a great scent, rinses so good and does not dry out your sink, plus it has that great pick- me- up to it.

   The next thing is the men’s 24h deodorant in Anarchy. Being a girl I have to say I love the color of it. It is such a great light blue. This is a gel deodorant which is honestly new to the family and I. The first thing we noticed is that it is wet feeling for about 20 seconds. I am guessing all gels are like this, because right after those 20 seconds you no longer know it is there. The smell is a little bit different than the body wash. It is more of a fruity or sweet under tone, but it works perfect with the body wash. After a full long hard day at work and the gym the guys all came home, and I was thinking oh god they are all going to need full showers and smell so bad. I was wrong. The deodorant held its own. You could smell it almost as strong as when they went. It worked so well to hide the yucky sweaty smell that they usually had at the end of the day. The only thing that they had bad to say was that, it does not block all the sweat, they could still feel a little bit of wetness, not enough to make them not want to use the product though. They loved that the scent had lasted all day and stayed so strong and that is most important to them. So overall, they love how well it works and the smell and will keep using it. They are excited to see what other smells that AXE makes in deodorant so they can try them all to see if they work this well. For the girl side, we are very thank full that it keeps them smelling good at the end of the day, so we do not have to hold our breath for that first hug when they get home.

   The last part of the set we have is the body spray in Anarchy. This can is just like the woman’s just in blue, black, gray, and gold.  Great graphics and I love how they open and close because you can carry them and not worry about getting them all over the place. This scent is a little different from the other two products as well, it has like a powder undertone to it. I LOVE it; it is my favorite out of the set. I am glad that it is the finishing part to it all. All three of them together makes the guys smell so good. This spray works as well as the woman’s. The guys put it on in the afternoon and you could smell it in the morning on their clothes. That once again is staying power. I love products that have staying power, and I am always willing to pay a little more because you will use less of the product so it will last long. AXE is a super deal because the smells are so good, and last a long time. They are also easy on the wallet. I have not seen AXE for over 6 dollars in my area, and it is almost always on sale around here. I am so happy with this new scent and I hope that everyone will try it.
