Box's I have gotten

So I have been a little slow at writing lately. Sorry about that, my comp crashed and my phone died. I am a little more together now, but I may not have pics for my posting for a little bit.  This post is just a quick update on some of the boxes I have gotten. First box I got was my Teen Vogue Birch box, which I LOVE!! I am so happy that I picked the teen vogue box; I am not even sure what was in the normal box. Everyone I follow got the teen vogue box as-well. Well this is just a quick list of what came in mine:

1)      Essie’s luxeffects in as gold as it gets. I love the color, and it looks great alone or over color. I have been trying all kinds of things with it to see how I like it best. So far I love it over Sally Hansen’s No Hard Feelings.

2)      Kate Spade New York perfume in Twirl. This is a great fruity, florally type mix. I think it will be such a great scent for the spring. I love the perfume samples we get in our boxes, such a great way to always change your scent to your mood.

3)      Kerastase’s Elixir Ultime.  This works so well in my hair. It makes it super soft, shiny and straight. I was so happy with this I went and got a full size one and I never get hair products.

4)      Tarte’s Lipsurgence lip tint in Lucky. My sister and I are in love with this. It is so fun to use, love the crayon style of it. The color is great for spring and it has become my go to lip color.

5)      Twistband, hair tie in a super light pink. I am not sure what I think about this being in the box, but whatever, everything else was SUPER GREAT and I will use and have been using the hair tie. I just wish it was something different.

All together this was a great box and so happy that I got it. I hope they do more boxes like this in the future.

    The next thing I got was a Cravebox that I won from a giveaway by a1nettie on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/a1nettie). Thank you again, I enjoyed this box greatly. Everyone should check out her Youtube and from there her blog, she is super great and has great freebees and box openings. I do not have pictures of this box because of my phone, but I will link a picture that I found online for it.

 So in this box I got:

1)      Amore Pacific treatment cleansing foam and moisture bound. I have never seen anything like the moisture bound before, it is a spray for your face you can use whenever to help keep your face moisturized.  They both smell super great and I really like how the moisture bound makes my face feel.

2)      ThinkThin bars. One was creamy peanut butter and the other was a mixed nut bar. I got to try the mix nut bar and it was AMAZING. My sister took the other bar on me and I have not gotten to ask her what she thought of that one.

3)      Three packs of Eboost. I have to say that this one is not for me. I tried it and could only stand to take one sip. To me it tasted like salt water with a slight orange taste to it.  So glad I got to try them before buying them for myself.

4)      Downy Wrinkle Releaser. I have not used this yet nor have I ever before. I will say that I love the idea of it and so glad to have it. I am going to skip ironing something next time I have to wash them to see how well it works. If it works well it would save me so much time. I however do love the scent of it. Once I got it I sprayed it I could not wait to at least smell it, lol.

5)      Bic Mark It. We got 6 of them in great pinks and purples. They are a fine point permanent marker. I can never have enough craft type stuff. I love color, crafting and pink so I will find many uses for these markers.

This was another great box. I have been on the waiting list for a few months, but it is always full so I was super excited to get one box while I wait for the member ship to reopen.  I will post all the links again so you can check them out if you would like.

Venus & Olay Razor= LOVE

I got to try the Gillette Venus & Olay razor from my Influenster Love VoxBox and I am in love with it. After one use I gave out the rest of my razors and got refills for this one. This razor is a five blade razor wraped in two Olay bars. The bars look large, but they move so easily as you are using it. The bars smell so good too. These bars make it so I do not have to use shaving cream. The moisturizing that the bars give is great. I do not think my legs have been so soft and smooth in forever. I was always jumping razors to find one that I could get this result from. I cannot think of the right words to tell you, how happy I am with this razor. The handle feels good in my hand and I have full control. Ok this is the last part to my AXE review. Sorry it took a bit, I have been so sick I did not want to move. The last things I am going to talk about are two styling products and a bodywash.

   The body wash is a new 2in1 body and hair wash in Jet.  This is the strongest of the three body washes. It is a straight up manly smell. When I think of a man’s soap this is the smell I think of, strong, assertive, and confident. I did not attempt to use this one at all on me, because it was such a manly smell. I will say that I LOVE how it makes the bathroom smell when the guys are using it. I could sit in the bathroom and just smell it until it fades away. When they are done the shower and if they do not use a body spray you can still smell it throughout the day, which is great. I love when my boyfriend has something on that has a great smell; it makes me want to hug him so much more. This body wash also rises off the body perfectly and makes them feel super clean. Out of the three body washes I do not think I can really pick the best one. I love these scents and I think the best way to wear or use them for me is rotate the smells, lol, that way I get to always smell something new.

   The next thing is the Hold+Touch styling products. There is the cream wax for think hair and Paste for fine hair. AXE always has great colors on their products that stand out and always look so good together, and these are no let down either; simple but great eye popping colors. To me they both smell the same. It is a great kind of coconutish smell. I really enjoy the smell; I used it in my own hair and kept smelling my hair. I think people thought I might be a little weird, but that is ok with me.  There is a difference in the consistence with them that is very noticeable. I have very fine hair so I went right for the Paste. It comes out and kind of looks like the paste we played with in school as kids. I have very straight fine hair that has a hard time holding curls and I wanted to see if this would help me hold some. Once I toweled dried my hair I took in total about a quarter size amount and got it throughout my hair. Then I scrunched my hair until I had some nice waves in it. Out the door I went for my busy day, when I got home, I still had waves in my hair, YaY. It held pretty well, I would give it an A for what it kept going in my hair. Also my hair was still move able and pretty touchable. There were spots that were a little crunchy, but I am sure it was spots that I had not spread the product out well enough in.  I like the product very much overall. The other one was the cream wax for think hair. I used this one on my little brother because he was the only guy with hair and it is super thick. It was so super easy to spike his hair. It was like once I started to run my fingers in his hair it was spiked. It worked so well and was super-fast to do. It held his hair all day long and there was only a few spots that were crunchy again. I think that was just too much product in the areas. All in all I really liked these styling products. I think they worked great, honestly better than I thought that they would.

   Everything that I have tried I am in love with. All the products live up to what they say they do, and smell so good. If you have not tried anything from AXE I recommend that you do. AXE products

I got to try some new products from Axe and I have to say they did it again. J I have a lot to try so this will be a two maybe three part review. I will start with telling everyone about the biggest surprise, the new woman’s bodyspray. <3 The can says limited time and that makes me sad L I will stock up now and horde it. First off I love the can it is in, pink, black, and white equals perfect in my book. It is kind of a flower, fruit type smell, called Anarchy. Please forgive me I stink at explaining smells. Lol. I know it is going to be a great everyday all day smell for summer. Just smelling it now reminds me of summer. This also has great staying power. I put it on at about noon time yesterday and I could smell in this morning before my shower. It was not a very over powering smell, for me it was just right. It gives the guys a hint of something as we walk by. I have been dying for a woman’s AXE line I honestly did not realize that had one coming out until I got this box. I cannot tell you how super excited I was and still am. I LOVE this scent, the can, the staying power all of it. I had my younger sister and my mother both try it to and they agreed with me about it all. My father, brother, boyfriend and his brother thought it was a great scent for a woman. I am hoping that this line moves into lotion and or body wash as-well. So the overall, I am super happy with this product and will tell everyone I can to give it a try.

 The next thing that I tried was the 2 in1 Body + hair in Sportsblast. It is a re-energizing wash for after sports. The first thing about it is the color, such a great blue. Now yes this is a men’s product but I tried it along with my brother, I wanted to see what it was like and how well it cleaned and rinsed off the body. When using it in the shower the scent fills up the whole bathroom. It is another great smell from AXE. It is kind of a lemon citrus type smell. They always seem to nail the scents. It lathers great and went on as good if not better than my current Bath & Body works shower gel. Now the best part was how good it rinsed off. I felt squeaky clean once it was off of me. It did not dry my skin out either. The scent is not very strong and is almost gone once you are out of the shower, but I was ok with that and so were the guys because it leaves a fresh base to add one of their bodysprays. It does give you a little bit of a pick up while using it. I used it when I first woke up and it was like wake-up call and made me happy. Now when I asked the guys they did say all the same things but in a men’s way. They said, “yep we like it, we are clean, do not smell like a girl, and would use it again and again.”

 Both of these products are great. I am so happy with them. I will get another review of more products tomorrow or the day after. I am trying to use all a little bit so I can see how they are over a few days and see how they really work. I <3 AXE and think that their new line of products are keepers.

 So this tonight we bleached my sister’s hair, using Splat bleach. This was the first time we had seen this brand and decided to give it a go. I am allergic to bleach so my mom did it while I was watching and asking questions. So this review is coming from the three of us really. First thing is we got two bottles at first from Wal-Mart, they are about 8 bucks. We got home realized that they did not come with the plastic hat that said was in the box, not really a big deal just something I noticed. We always only need two bottles of bleach for my sister’s hair no matter what brand we have ever used. Well we mixed up the stuff and mom put it on my sister’s hair. At the end of the second bottle we realized it was not enough, so we had to run back to Wal-Mart and get another bottle in the middle of it all. So after 3 bottles it finally covered all of her hair. Right there we were a little turned off, because we have never had to use that much.  So we get it on her head and set the time for 45 minutes. After everyone had a second to stop and think, we realized my mother and sister both were covered in hives in any place the bleach touched. Well I have always been allergic to bleach, but they have never ever had a reaction to it. It was not major but it sure made them very itchy. My sisters back did not breakout but it was red and super itchy. This was another reason we won’t buy this bleach again. My mother had just used bleach this morning when doing wash and cleaning the bathroom and nothing bugged her at all, so it has to be something in that bleach kit. After rinsing the bleach out, it turned my sister’s hair all different shades from super blonde to red. She does have dyed hair, so the spots that did not have dye went super blonde but the parts that had left over dye went red. So this dye does not work to well in already dyed hair. They gave you some shampoo and conditioner in the box. We used the shampoo right away and it smells sooooooo good. It is banana scented, and worked well. It made her hair as soft as I think it could after it had just been bleached. Now that it is dry it did not damage her hair too much. I will say that her hair is not as soft as it was before, but it is not all dried out and straw like either.  So it is pretty much in the middle. Tomorrow morning she is going to put in the conditioner and leave it in for the day like it says to see how much it helps.  So overall, we will not be buying this bleach brand any more.
