Ivory 2-n-1

I got Ivory 2-in-1 from Influenster to try out and share my thoughts on. This is a new product that can be used for body wash and shampoo, it also includes conditioners.

   The scent is very clean and refreshing. I enjoyed it because it was different from my normal fruity or floral scent. I use it mostly as a body wash because I have a very dry scalp and I do not like to change my shampoos. My sister has been using it as a shampoo and said it is not too bad. She still likes a normal shampoo and conditioner better. This makes her hair clean and manageable, just not as soft as she would like.

   As for a body wash I really like it. It leaves my skin soft and moisturized with a nice scent.  A little on my bath gloves goes a very long way. It rinses off your body nicely and leaves you feeling clean. All in all I think it is a great body wash but as a shampoo I am not the biggest fan.

Nourish, Organic Food for Healthy Skin, Review

I got some goodies from Nourish to try out and share my honest thought with you guys and the company. Nourish is an organic beauty company. They offer “100 percent USDA certified organic, high-performance and high- quality formulations offered in distinctive scents made of exclusive blends of 100 percent USDA certified organic essential oils and extracts.” I could not have explained the company better. They carry many different bath and body products in four different scents.

  The first thing I got to try is their organic hand wash in lavender mint. It is the first time I have come across organic hand wash and was very excited to try it. The bottle has a lovely picture on it and I am proud to show it in my bathroom. I took the big bottle and split it. I work with food and wash my hands at least 30 times a day at work, so I wanted to see how it worked when using it that much. The smell is heavenly. I love lavender and mint and when they are together it this soap they are perfect. The next thing I learned is a little goes a long way. When using it you only need about half a pump and you are good. If you use too much it takes a little longer to get off your hands. So just keep that in mind while you are using it. Now as for using it over and over it is great. When you use the right amount it lathers easily and rinses away quickly. Your hands feel squeaky clean when you dry them. It has helped my hands feel smoother and softer instead of drying them out. I have found I do not have to use as much lotion because my hands stay soft and moisturized. I give this soap 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it to everyone one.

  The next product I tried is their organic body wash. This product I am on the fence still about, I think. I am still using it and trying to decide which way to go with it. First thing is the scent. It is almond vanilla, and it is amazing. I look forward to it every morning. It fills the bathroom with this great scent. When you rinse it off it leaves a weird scent on your body. It is not a bad scent, just weird. I was expecting to smell like the almond vanilla after the shower. I have also found with this product you have to use more than normal to get a nice lather. This is not the worst thing I was just thinking it would be like the hand soap where less is more. Once you get those out of the way it is a god body wash. It is a creamy type of texture which lathers and goes on to your body great once you get the amount right. It rinses off and does not leave that nasty residue on your skin like many other body washes do. You fell squeaky clean, yet moisturized. I would give this product 4 out of 5 stars. This is mainly just because of the scent not lasting after the soap is off. I really love the scent and wish I could smell it all day. If you were to layer it with their lotion maybe you could solve that problem. I do recommend it thought because it makes you feel so clean and fresh without the heavy nasty feeling some soaps leave on your body.

Pamico Soapworks Review!!!!!

I received some soap samples from Pamico Soapworks to review and give my honest opinion about.
  I will start by saying I love this soap. I got three samples bars in Twilight Woods, Coconut Lime, and Olive Oil. The coconut lime was everyone in the houses favorite. The smell is amazing!!!.It is long lasting and room filling. My mother said it make my father smell so good she wants to bite him, LoL. The Twilight Woods is a rustic type smell which is wonderful too. I do not think I have found a smell like it before. The Olive Oil soap was a very first for me. I have heard all kinds of good stuff about using olive oil as skin care; I just never found any to try before. I will say as just a plain scent for the soap it takes a little getting use too, but TOTALLY worth it. This soap left my skin feeling amazing. It goes on great, lathers easily and when rinsing it off it comes fully off and leaves you feeling super clean. While leaving you feeling clean it also leave you skin so soft. I do not understand how it leaves you feeling so clean yet so soft. Usually soap leaves a weird feeling if it is moisturizing but this one has none of that at all. It just leaves you feeling squeaky clean, yet VERY soft. I am a huge olive oil soap fan now.  All three of the soaps are great and leave you feeling so clean with no left over residue feeling at all. I feel like I could run my finger down my arm and make that clean dish sound after using the soap. The smell lasts a very long time. I really cannot get over how much everyone in my home loves this soap. I have been using body wash for years thinking that was the way to get my skin the smoothest, boy I think I might be wrong.  My father has been using the coconut lime, Shea butter soap every day for about a week and he has always had a very large patch of dry skin on his chest and by using this soap it has already started to get better. We have tried many different things and this has been the first thing that we could really see a difference with. While talking to her I have found out that the coconut lime and citrus splash are her best-selling soaps, and it the citrus is as good as the coconut lime I know why. These soap are wonderful and have two thumps up and an A+ all around in my book. I hope you guys take the time to check it out and give one a try.

Calgon Take me Away

I received about a week ago some great products to try out and review for you guys. The products are from the company Calgon, Take me Away. I got a body mist and shimmering body cream in Morning Glory and a body mist and moisturizing shower gel and foam bath in Hawaiian Ginger.

   First I will talk about the Morning Glory products. The scent is lovely. The body spray is strong and you only need a little bit to do the job, which I LOVE, because that means it last longer. I put it on in the morning and was out and about doing stuff until about midnight that night. When I got home and hugged my boyfriend he could still smell it. So not only do you only need a little bit it lasts all day. The lotion is great too. I will say first I LOVE the look of it. It is a swirl lotion and it is the prettiest blue and white swirl around the whole bottle. I want to get a new unused one just to set on my desk as a decoration; I think it is so pretty. This blue is just so pretty. LoL off subject a bit sorry. The lotion makes you skin feel so smooth and soft. I use it on my whole body after my shower and before bed and I can feel the difference on my skin. The smell is as nice as the body spray and lasts all day as well. The lotion is also fast drying and does not leave your feeling slimy or grease. It is a great set to use together when you want a long lasting scent.

   The next ones are the Hawaiian Ginger, and I will say this was my favorite. This scent is amazing and I do not have anything like it at all. The color is just as great, it is a pretty peachy orange color. This body spray works the same way. You only need a little bit and it last all day long. I wore this one the first time out to a casino and I got stopped by so many woman that asked me what I was wearing. I can say I am honestly not used to that, I do not get that too often. It was great though to tell them about this product and hopefully made some new fans. The body wash is great too. It foams great on my puff and spreads over the body perfectly. The smell fills the whole bathroom and just makes you so happy. It is a very up-lifting smell. Great to use in the morning for that get up and go kick we all need sometimes. It comes off the body perfectly and does not leave a film or make you feel like it is still there. After the shower and drying off it makes your skin feel so soft. After using it I skipped using lotion a few times because how great my skin felt from it. I have only found one other body wash that leaves your skin feeling that way and it is a little expensive, so I think I will stick to this product.

   These products are great and I will buy them again and again. I am excited to go out and see what other scents that they have. I went to their web site and saw some of the products that I am excited to go looking for. By looking around their site I see that they can be found at Wal-Mart, Rite Aid and Target.  On their site there is a coupon that you can print for their products too.
