Well last week I got tons of Schick Disposable razors. They were at Wal-Mart for $1.97 and I had a $2.00 off coupon so it worked out free for me.  I had never used them, but I said what the heck for free I’ll learn to like them. There are 3 women in the house so we use a lot of razors and any time I can get ahead it is great. Well the first thing I noticed is the cap is a little hard to get off until you use it once. The cover stays on the razor and you push it up to use the razor and down to close it. Once I got that down I was in love with the cap. I hate when you drop the caps in the shower and step on them, so this solves that problem.  They are just a basic razor no strip of aloe or anything on them, which is ok with me because I use conditioner to save with. They worked great thought; one razor did both legs no problem. They glided great over the leg, even at the knees and ankles. It did not cause any cuts that I can find anywhere. I only used one once so far, but I kept it to see if you could use it a second time.  So for being free razors I am pretty happy with them and will use them gladly. The bags I got had 10 of basic razors and two extra of their next step up razors. I have not tried those yet but I will let you know when I do.

Sorry I did not write yesterday, but I was beat. I hurt my back and they gave me pain pills that knock me right out. Let’s get right to it. I want to talk about my Julep Maven box and what I think of the nail polish. First off Julep Maven is a monthly nail polish box you can get. It cost $20 a month for over $40 worth of products. They make you take a little test to see which box would fit you best. This is the web site so you can check it out without me going on and on about it. http://julep.com/?r=18677126.

I got the IT Girl box, which came with 3 shares of nail polish and a top coat. I honestly had not painted my own nails since middle school, I like to get mine done or they are to thin and are always breaking. The colors I got are Megan, a dark blue shimmery color, Leah, a grass green type color, and Hayden, which is a summery peach color. I have tried them all on my nails and I think that Hayden is my favorite color. My mother and sister both looked at them and tried them as well. My sister did not like any of the colors, and my mom likes them a lot, but she won’t wear them because she just does not like nail polish. When I put them on they went on nice and easy. The brushes pick up a lot of color so you have to watch out for drips from other parts of the brush. They say to put on two coats, but the only one that I found really needed two coats was the Megan. The other two looked great with just one. They dried fast, which is a huge plus because I do not sit still well. I personally also like that the top is square instead of round, makes them easier to hold for me. The top coat goes on great like the nail polish and dries fast. It gives the color a great shine. I have had my color on since I got the box on the 26th and have not been easy on my nails at all, and they still looked good. I only have one little chip on the corner which I got from trying to open my new make-up. Just a quick second and it was all fixed and it is thin enough that you cannot tell you had to add some more polish.  So if you like to do your nails and do not mind spending the $20 a month it is a cool way to get some new colors in your collection. they are great nail polishes and I will keep mine going for another month or so to see what surprises I get.

Olay Face Cloths

Today I am going to talk about Olay 2 in 1 facial cloth, for combination skin. I got these a while back really cheap on sale at CVS and I waited until I was out of my other face cleaner to use them.  I have used almost a whole box already and think I am ready to give my thoughts on them. Well first they have two sides, a nice soft one for gentle cleaning then a ruff side to help scrub of that nasty dead skin. I always use the ruff side then the soft side when washing my face. These cloths are super easy to use and great to take when you travel everything u need on one little cloth.  I use them in the shower in the morning, when I am ready to wash my face just unfold the cloth, wet it, wash then toss away.  Love Love Love how they save me time. I use them before bed right over the sink too. The soap is mild enough I can use on my eyes to remove any make-up.  They do a great job at cleaning the face and getting all the yucky stuff off.  Since I have been using them I do not have as much dry skin on my face or any break outs. It also does not cause any irritation on my face from daily use. Honestly I think my favorite part is the time they save and that I can toss them after each use. I hate the thought of using a towel or rag on my face so I always just used my hands to wash my face. I believe that they between $5 and $7 dollars for 33 cloths at most stores. I think that so far they are worth the price. They are easy to use, perfect size for you face, portable, and gentle on the skin. I add a picture of the box, but forgot to talk one of the cloths, I will add one to my post tomorrow so you can check out what they look like.

What came in the mail

So this is just a quick mail call. I got my first ever Julep Maven box today.  I got it in the It Girl Collection and I LOVE the colors I got already. After I am done my school stuff today I am going to try it out. What Julep is, is a monthly membership box where you get 3 different nail polishes and usually a sample in the box each month. When you sign up you take a little test and they find out what style best fits you. If you do not like the collection they pick you can trade it in for a shelf pick as well. It is $20.00 a month for $40.00 worth of nail polish. When I signed up I also waited a few days before placing my order, the day I decided I was going to do it I had an e-mail to get my first box for $5.oo, I could not pass that up. Here is the site if you would like to find out more about it. http://julep.com/?r=18677126.  I also got a coupon for a free bottle of Suave body wash and sample from LovelySkin, both which I have no used, so I am running out in the next few days to get the body wash and tonight when I wash my face I will try the stuff from Lovelyskin and let all of you know how it worked out.

Shopping

OK so tonight I am not reviewing anything, I am talking about the great deals I found while shoppingJ.
First I went to Wal-Mart and my bill was $16.64 and I got it down to $ 1.21 with my coupons. I got 9 Johnson & Johnson first aid kits, 2 Aqua fresh travel size toothpastes, 1, 12 ct. Schick disposable razors and 2 bags of Temptations cat treats. For this I had 3 $3.00 off coupons on 3 Johnson & Johnson products, 2 $1.00 off coupons on any Aqua fresh, 1 $2.00 off coupon on any Schick razors and a buy  1 get 1 free coupon for the Temptations cat treats. The only thing I paid for was the cat treats; everything else was free with .03 cent overage which went towards the treats. Great haul for Wal-Mart made me pretty excited.  Then I went to Price Chopper and found Olay luscious embrace bar soup marked down to $1.99 for the two pack, not sure what the normal price is, forgot to look. I got that for $.99 thought because I had a coupon for $1.00 off any bar of Olay. I usually do not buy Olay because it is so much, but this was a great deal for two bars. It smells so good and I cannot wait until I try it tomorrow.  If I like them I am going back to get a few more because I have some coupons left over. I also went to Stop & Shop, but did not get anything tonight because I did not have the right coupons with me, but I am going tomorrow because I found a great deal. Their Uncle Ben’s rice in the microwave packages are 3 for 5 this week. Well you can used the buy 3 get 1 free coupon along with the buy 4 get $ 1.00 off coupon. So you get 4 for $5.00 which is a good deal for those. I am in love with the Santa Fe one, so tomorrow I am going to stock up. I did not put up my Price Chopper slip because I got a bunch of other marked down candy that I did not have coupons for so it is just a messy slip lol.

Ok so I got something yesterday that I have been dying to pick up and try. It is the Hard Candy Plumping Serum. The picture does not really show the color good, but it is in Girl Next Door, a super pale pink. I am a lip gloss, lip balm, chapstick FREAK!! I have to have them all and try them all. My sister had this one and I used it once and was in love, so I need my own. First I got this color because I am not big on having color on my lips. This color is great pretty much clear just a little tiny tin of pink for your lips. When you put it on in gives your lips a tingly feeling, which I think that is how it gets them to plump. I have thick lips to start with, so I see a little difference, but my sister who has very thin lips puts it on you can really see the difference. It goes on so smooth and easy; you only need a little bit to cover the whole lip. Once it is on, it is a little sticky, but nothing bad at all. I have only had to put it one twice today and I have been going about 10 hours so far. It is one of the better lasting lip glosses that I have. The shine that is gives is great J I like dramatic eyes and just shiny lips to offset them, and this product works great for that. It is in a 2.7 oz., which is bigger than every other lip gloss I just pulled out. The only place I seemed to find it was at Wal-Mart and I paid either 6 or 8 bucks for it (sorry lost the slip with the price). I hate spending that much on make-up and not knowing if it is really worth it or not, but I am very pleased with it and glad I got it. I think right now it will become my new favorite lip gloss. They had many colors, my sister has a purple reddish one that shows up on the lips and she loves it too.   So overall I really like it, great shine, long lasting, and not to sticky, and goes on great.

Hey, going to give this a go again.  Tonight I am going to talk about BIC Round Stic ball pen. I got the 36 pack in blue at Target the other day. They were 2.88 for 36 pens and I had a dollar off coupon, could not pass up that deal. I was honestly worried that the pens might be crap because they were so cheap. I was very very surprised by them.  They write great!!! Nice smooth easy writing. I write A LOT           , between all my papers for school and finding my weekly deals, and now this blog I always have a pen in my hand. I write everything by hand then type it up, I know I know what a waste of time, but it is how I can think. I have had many pens that the ink is too heavy, or skips not this pen. Great ink, write the same the whole time and I love BLUE. I also like the size and shape. My hands cannot deal with pens that are odd shaped, have ridges, or are too big. These are perfect shape and size. You are also able to see the ink, so I know when it is time to make sure I have an extra one on hard. That is great because I hate carrying around more things then I need to, now I just grab one when I am getting low on ink. At $1.88 I am also not worried about throwing them away when they are dead. I loved these pens so much I went back and used my last two coupons on them. I am not stocked on pens for quite some time. They also last a long time. With as much as I write each week my last one lasted me a little over a month. So parents or college students if you need some pens these are a great deal. I found them in black and blue, I just happen to love blue so I got those.

Hey everyone, I am back again. I wanted to talk about the Glade tonight. I recently got the 2 in 1 candles in Spruce it up / Apple Cinnamon and Vanilla Passion Fruit/ Hawaiian Breeze. I also got a jar candle in Peppermint Crush and a Scented Oil Candle in Spruce it up. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these smells. The jar candle and the 2 in 1 is 4 oz. and it is support to burn up to 22 hours. I honestly have not watched the hours but I have been burning one of them every night for a week for around 3 hours and I still have a fair amount to go with it. Spruce It Up, makes the whole room smell like a fresh Christmas tree. I love getting these at Christmas and saving them until later so I can have a touch of Christmas all year long. It is one of the best Christmas smells that I have found.  The Apple Cinnamon and Peppermint Crush are also true to their names. They are wonderful holiday scents, which I like to burn all year long. I have never been one who follows the seasons on what can be burned or smelled in your house when.  If I like something I burn it.  Right now as I write this I have the Vanilla Passion Fruit/ Hawaiian Breeze burning. I am in an upstairs bedroom and if I keep the door open the smell covers the whole upstairs down into the living room. It is a summery fruity scent that brings me to a happy place when I smell it. I also get many people who come into my home ask me about it and love the smell of it. So all in all I think these are a great item to buy. They live up to what they say and the best part is, you can ALWAYS find them on sale and coupons for them all over the place.  Ohhhhhh I forgot to talk about the scented oil candles. I also forgot that I got refills for it in French vanilla. I do not recall how long they are support to burn, sorry, but they lasted like 10 or so hours.  They take a few minutes to get hot and start melting, but it is worth the wait. Once I had a little oil in the candle you could start smelling it. For as little as they are they fill up the rooms with the smell. Also for all the candles the smell lingers for a while after you blow them out, which is a great thing. So as I was saying they are a great buy in my opinion. PLEASE remember to always blow them out when you leave the room and watch them around your kids and pets

Hey everyone,
Well this is my first night at this. Just kind of an idea I had I am playing with. I want to review different products from all areas and help people find a little bit more about them. I will also throw in some great deals I might find along my way searching the web. I have a few things that I will work on reviewing tonight and get them up so people might see them and and start using my site. I think it will be a fun thing to do because I love trying new things and helping my friends pick the best things for them. I also like to write and search for random things on the web. Sometimes post might be a little slow because I am also in school. These first few weeks might be a little slow too because I am just starting out and seeing what is out there to check out and what things people might want to hear about. I might also pull some family members in that have more knowledge about different areas. Well I hope everyone enjoys this and I end up with some followers.  Thanks everyone who reads  this and stay tuned.
