Three weeks of mail freebies, just a quick overview!!!

This is just a quick list and some pictures of my last three weeks of mail freebies.
A 16 count of Snapple Ice tea K- cups, Maybelline FITME foundation sample card, From Fiora a pumpkin carving kit with many templates and a cloth trick or treat bag, Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition sample in the shampoo, conditioner, and deep conditioner, yogi tea samples, lever 2000 body wash sample, a free coupon for a Beneful tub of soft dog food, urgent Rx sample in allergy attack, Similac $5 dollar checks, three piece Biore samples and CVS coupons. I know it is not much, but I only spend a little time when I can to see what is out there. If you have more time to spend looking around and such there are tons of things that you could find out there. I will add some pages that you can check out that can help you find some freebies.
I have also been thinking, and when I get 100 likes on Facebook and at least 50 people to follow me on my blog, I will do a giveaway. As I get closer I will give more information on what I am going to give out and the rules and such. Do not forget to follow me on my blog or like me on Facebook, thanks

CVS haul

I went to CVS today because I had a $10 ECB that I had to use before it expired.  I went with one coupon and no plan, but I think I did pretty well.
The first deal I found was wrongly priced CG lashblastlength mascara. It was normally 8.99, but they had a 50% off sticker on the price tag. It was the wrong item, but they gave me half off. I asked the store manager about it and was not going to get it because I felt bad, but he encouraged me to get it. So that put it to $4.50 and I had a $2 off coupon I could use on it.

Nyx was 40% off this week, so I checked out what they had. I got two items from them. First a limited edition Individual eyes in 001 Super Vixen. This will be my first time using an NYX eye shadow. I love their lip sticks, but hate their pencil eye liners, so we will see about this. I also got their new Plumping Big Bold lip gloss in 473 Full on Fuchsia. The shadow pallet was $4.99 but I got $2 of because of the sale and the lip gloss was $3.99 but I got $1.60 off. The magic red box gave me a dollar off coupon I also used on these products.

I tossed in a drink, .99$, and mints, $2.27, to fill up the $10  ECB. After my three coupons and the sales my total was .15$ for everything. I did not get any ECB back, but this will trigger my $5 ECB from the Beauty Club which I can use next week for my deals. I missed posting about two other hauls because I have been sick, and work has me working like a dog and I have just never found time. I also have three weeks of mail freebies coming up.

Products not worth buying

I am not a person who likes to do negative reviews, but I have two lip products that I have gotten, that I just do not care for no matter how I use them or what I do with them. These are things that I got with my own money and kind of sad about them not working out.
The first lippies is from a web site called The Body Needs. It is their lip luster in Tokyo Pink. The packaging is simple and that is one of the reasons why it is a cheap price. I would have really loved for it to work because the color is so pretty. The site says it is a dupe for MAC’s St. Germain, having not used or seen St. Germain in person I cannot say yes or no to that. For this is that the lip luster is super soft and gooey. It is in a very thin lipstick tube, and I would have thought that is would have stayed like a normal lipstick, but it is nothing like it. I cannot twist it back down because it is so soft and yucky. It goes on your lips like a gooey, sloppy mess. It does not go on smooth; it is super hard to get a smooth coat on your lips. Once you put your lips together it is all over the place again. It is just a greasy mess that never sets or stays in place. I have tried it with lip liner, concealer, anything I can think of to make it stop bleeding and stay put. I did get a sample of MAC’s Candy Yum Yum from the site which was great. The shipping took around two weeks, but there were no problems at all with that, or ordering from the site. I would think about ordering more samples from them, because I cannot see spending the price on a full tube of MAC that I will never use all of, but I will shy away from their lip products. Within the next two weeks, I am going to look into ordering some of their eye products so I can share what I think of them with you. They have amazing colors at a good price that I would love to try.

The next product is the Wet n Wild megalast liquid lip color. The only color I have is Click on my hyperpink ,924A, I am very glad it is the only color that I have. I LOVE this color to death and wished this was not a negative post about the product.  First thing I noticed was the scent; it reminds me of old burned plastic and just makes me want to put it away as soon as I open it. It goes on smooth and even with no problems. The problems come into play once it starts to set. It gets so dry on my lips I cannot stand it. It settles in every line of your lips so it makes them look dry and yucky too. When I put it on I put lip balm on first, then apply the megalast and top with a lip gloss. I am still not sure if I like it how it looks this way. The lip color still settles in the lines and makes it a little blotchy. I have not tried to see how long it lasts because I am not happy with it and just take it off again. Overall the color is gorgeous and very pigmented, but it is so drying and settles into lines so it makes me not want to wear it. It also leaves nasty pink on everything from cups to food.

Jordana 12 HR Made to Last

So last week I posted about the Jordana 12 HR Made to Last eye shadow pencils I won. I have tried them a few days since getting them and thought I would share with you what I thought. I will give the pros to start with because I really wanted to love and use these. The colors I got are perfect and beautiful for a natural eye look. The shadows are so creamy and go on like a dream. There is no pulling or pain on the eye lids. Once on they blend out perfectly, and they look great together.
Now time to talk about the down side of them. I cannot wear them; no matter what I did or how I tried them they bugged my eyes. They would make them watery, itchy, and irritated. I had to stop in the middle of driving and remove the make-up because I could not see well from my eyes watering. I have sensitive eyes with about two other products, now this adds another one. I am not sure what is in them or why they do it, but I am so sad that they do. I have never used any other Jordana products, so I am going to try to find some more to see if I can use them, because of how well these seem to work. It is an inexpensive make-up brand so once I can find some I can get a bunch of things to try out and see how they work for me.

Overall, if someone does not have sensitive eyes I recommend these. They are so creamy and blend able. I found them on Cherryculture.com for 3.99, so you cannot beat the price and they have 8 pretty colors to pick from.

I am also adding Jorana's Facebook page, add them and watch out for the great giveaways they are always doing.

Maybelline Dr. Rescue Baby Lips!!!

OK ladies, I will admit it I am a lip junkie and a Maybelline lip junkie at that.  I have been hunting high and low since I heard that there was a new Baby Lips coming out. I have almost all of them that have come out. I LOVE them and always have at least one in my bag. I looked high and low in my town the last few weeks trying to find the Maybelline Dr. Rescue and today I sort of struck gold. I honestly forgot that we had a Rite Aid in town because I never go in to it, but I had time and saw it so I went in. BINGO, they had them, but they only had one color left. That made me sad, but happy because I could at least try one. I got the pink one and of course I forgot to save the package to get the real color name. I have been using it since I got it this afternoon. It is a menthol lip balm and I love that so much. You put it on and it tingles and cools your lips. It makes them feel soft and refreshed.  This one gives your lips just a soft hint of pink, which is great for on the go. This is great because you never need a mirror to put a little on. I put it on twice in an eight hour period and it lasted both times and kept my lips feeling great. I highly recommend these and there will be more added to the review when I find more colors and get some more use out of them. I was just too excited to wait and share that I found them.

Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain

I gave the Cover girl Outlast lip stain a try, so I thought I would share with you. The one I used was number 400, unfortunately since I took the package off I could not find the color name. It is a magic marker form with the felt tip. This type of lip product is one of my favorite because I think it goes on with so much control. It goes on nice and smooth with lots of color. It is very wet when first applied and dries in seconds. The only time I smelled anything is if I smelled the marker its self.  Once it dries it is not to drying on the lips or sticky at all. I personally like my lips very moisturized so I did swipe on a little bit of baby lips before I walked out of the house, if I did not have that I would have been ok with just the lip stain.

I put it on around 1:30 before work and went about my day. I had it on until I got home at 10:30 without touch up. I saw around 6:30 that I still had color. It was not as dark, but there. I also did not have to put on any more lip gloss. It was not over drying the rest of the day. When I got home at 10:30 there was a tiny bit of color left. Overall I really love this stuff. I will be going out to get more colors. They are not over drying and lasted for hours through eating, drinking, smoking, and lip licking. I really have no cons for this product. If I find some I will update on them.

Mail Freebies

Well not too much today. I am giving the Cover Girl Outlast lipstains a go so hopefully I will have a review of that for you very soon. Today is just quick freebies in the mail, which is not much at all. I got a sample from Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner. I also got prize mail from Jordana. I few weeks ago on their Facebook page they were giving out their new 12 HR eyeshadow pencils. Well today I got two of them in the mail, which really surprised me. I thought we would get one, but nope there were two, they are in continuous almond and tenacious brown.  They are great colors and when I put them on my hand for you to see it was so creamy and smooth. I will let you know more about them once I get to use them for a little bit.

I am back with a little coupon haul :D

I have been gone for a long time; I had a lot to do with school and some personal things I had to deal with. I have time now and it is time to start writing. Today is just a two quick shopping trips that I had. One of them from Wal-Mart, I do not have the receipt anymore because I did it last week, the CVS one I did just today.
From Wal-Mart, I got six travel size Gillette shaving cream for free plus was paid to take them outside of the store. They were $1.27 a piece and I had two coupons that let you get $6.00 off three products with no size restriction. So for three of them it was $3.81. At Wal-Mart they take the full $6.00 and give you the overage in cash. So I did the deal twice and got $2.19 in cash for each coupon.

Now for today’s CVS trip. I got four of the Dawn Hand renewal dish soap that are on sale for .99 cents each. I had two, $1.00 off two product coupons for those. I got two regular Dawn dish soap that are also on sale for .99$. I used two .20 cents off coupons on those. I got two Cover girl Outlast Lipstains. They are on sale buy one get one half off, so one was $9.49 and the other one was $4.64. I had one $ 4.00 off two coupons for those. I got two of the Cover girl glosstinis. One of those was $3. 79 and the other one was $1. 89. I had a $1.50 off coupon off one item, so I could use one on both of them. I also had a magic red box coupon for $5.00 off $15.00 worth of cosmetics I used. Then I used $5.50 in EBC (Extra Care Bucks). All of that brought my total down to $6.01 out of pocket and after I got my receipt I got $5.00 back in ECB to use next time I go in. So Basically I paid $1.01 for all of these items.

I am not the best with coupons and still slowly learning but these are my latest trips and I did very well on both of them. As I learn more I hope I will get better, however I do not want to build a huge stock pile of items that I will never use. I only look for deals on things that my house hold needs and will use.
